GRAND SPORT COUPE: A NOBLE NAMESAKE

Grand Sport echoes from the formative days of the 1960s when Corvette was cutting its teeth in brutal endurance races such as Les 24 Heures du Mans and the 12 Hours of Sebring.
Those learnings applied, today's Grand Sport coupe offers one of the best combinations of all-out performance and efficiency of any sports car. "Like all Corvettes, it has strong grip and excellent midrange power, with the added bonus of the Z06's stunning brakes."
-Car and Driver on the 2010 Lightning La

INTERIOR

Purposeful design
Corvette provides a premium driving environment with such options of rich leather coverings on the instrument panel upper, door panel uppers, console cover and sport seat surfaces with the available Custom Leather-Wrapper Interior Package on the 4LT trim level. This option also gives you the opportunity to personalize your Corvette with contrasting stitching in Red, Yellow, and Blue.

PERFORMANCE

We take tech transfer seriously
The incredible performance is born from years of racing experience on the world's best-known tracks against the world's best sports cars. Features include:
  • Dry-sump oil system (coupe with manual transmission only)
  • Wide-stance body with flared fenders
  • Six-piston front brake calipers and four-piston rears engaging cross-drilled rotors
  • Brake cooling ducts
  • High rear spoiler

Dial up your suspension
The available Magnetic Selective Ride Control, available on select models, stiffens suspension capability for twisty roads while providing a more compliant ride for city driving and freeways. Here's how it works. An electromagnetic coil resides inside each damper piston. When an electrical current is applied - variably controlled by a microprocessor - ferrous particles in the shock fluid instantly bond, making the fluid more flow resistant, effectively stiffening the shock's damping. Conversely, when the electromagnetic field is reduced, the fluid flows more freely, allowing easier suspension movement. There are two cockpit settings: "Tour" and "Sport." This option also includes larger, crossed-drilled brake rotors.

Citroën C4 Picasso is Visibly Safer

Citroen_C4_Picasso_HDi_EGS_Dynamic_Dashboard_0003a.jpg
The Citroen C4 Picasso, already lauded as one of the most economical seven seat people movers in New Zealand, has added to its EuroNCAP five star safety rating the fact that it is one of only two vehicles of 183 tested by the RACV, Australian motorists’ organization, to score four out of five stars in the RACV’s Car Blind Spot Ratings.
The majority of cars scored just one or two stars.
The test, which uses a rotating laser looking at visibility through 180 degrees from the driver’s seat, looks at how visibility from the driver’s seat affects the likelihood of an accident at intersections, roundabouts and with pedestrians.
“The Citroen C4 Picasso’s large glass area not only makes for a light, comfortable interior,” says Lawrie Malatios, General Manager for Citroen in New Zealand. “It also, as these results show, further adds to the safety of the Citroen C4 Picasso and, given where the majority of these vehicles will be used, in crowed urban environments, near schools and in shopping centres, this Citroen_C4_Picasso_HDi_EGS_Dynamic_0050a.jpgis particularly relevant result and one that must be considered by anyone who is buying a family people mover.”
The result achieved by the Citroen C4 Picasso stands in stark contrast to some of the vehicles tested by the RACV.
“In some vehicles tested, a pedestrian or cyclist as close as nine metres away and a vehicle 20 metres away couldn’t be seen by the driver because the design of the vehicle created a side blind spot,” says Michael Case, RACV Manager, Vehicle Engineering.
“This independent test result,” says Mr Malatios, “when added to the EuroNCAP five star result and the wide range of safety features fitted to the Citroen C4 Picasso, which include such innovations as the speed limiter and the fixed hub steering wheel, are clear demonstrations of Citroen’s commitment to road safety and protecting not just its owners but also other road users.”
In a limited time finance offer, the Citroen C4 Picasso is now available for $14,996 as a one third deposit at zero interest with the second and third payments due in 2012 and 2013, subject to lending criteria.

Future BMW M2

Future BMW M2 in the works

The BMW M2 is on its way with the new 2 Series platform and unique design. The renderings put us in mind of BMW’s Vision EfficientDynamics style, but apparently a new design for the front and rear will be used in a car that is intended to increase competition for Audi’s Quattro GmbH performance arm.
The M2 will have the new F21 platform, set to make an appearance in 2014, with a front engine and rear-wheel drive. Currently two different M2 engines are being tested: a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder turbo with 350 hp, and a tri-turbo powertrain which is being developed to provide the same performance but with better fuel economy.
Not only do the renderings indicate that some style elements from the upcoming BMW i8 might be borrowed, the new M2 should also use lightweight materials as on the new brand, with carbonfibre reinforced plastic. The BMW M2 would be a two-door coupe model which could appear in 2015.

All Mercedes CLS

                   Mercedes CLS concept

.The Mercedes CLS Rising Car sculpture seen in these pics from Detroit, will be shown as a real concept car at the 2010 Geneva motor show in March. The new CLS sedan design will be previewed, with the car itself debuting at the end of this year.

It will be the first Mercedes to show design boss Gordon Wagener’s new design philosophy, which will also include a new identity for the Mercedes front end, based on the grille of the 300 SL. In the future there will be less variation across the range in the front end, which will become more corporate.
As already suspected, the new CLS will include a shooting brake style, rather than a station wagon model, as some rumours have suggested. Wagener is aiming for the “most beautiful cars in the world” and has said that a shooting brake would be the most stunning car in its sector, we should think in direct competition with Audi’s sportback style.

         Mercedes CLS by Lorinser tuning

The new Mercedes CLS gets a body-kit from Lorinser tuning. The German tuners have fitted new aerodynamic parts to the car, for a little extra grunt and exclusivity to the coupe-sedan.
The Mercedes CLS tuning gets a larger front fascia, added air intakes, side skirts and rear extractor with a new four-pipe exhaust. An aerodynamic lip also adorns the boot and we get new matte grey tint.
From these pics the CLS looks to have been lowered, highlighting the large wheels, but no technical details are available. Overall the treatment gives the CLS a new, hefty and meaner look.

        Mercedes CLS 63 AMG

This bevy of new pictures of the new Mercedes CLS 63 AMG is enough to convince us that it is one of the most elegant cars of the year. What’s more, the guys in the design department have also managed to include some more sporty, aggressive lines giving a good balance to the smooth style and something extra which should appeal further to the male audience.
The CLS 63 AMG gets a new 5.5-litre, twinturbo V8 engine with 557 hp and 800 Nm. The video after the jump will prove to you that despite the two turbocompressors, it’s still got a sound like a traditionally aspirated unit which is not to be underestimated for fans of the AMG badge. The new automatic, seven-speed Speedshift MCT transmission is included and despite the supercar performance, we get fuel consumption of 9.9 l/100 km and 231 g/km of CO2.
The new model comes in two versions with the standard one having 525 hp and 700 Nm, while the Performance Package provides the figures mentioned above. Top speed is limited to 250 km/hr and acceleration time is 4.3 seconds on the performance model, or 4.4 seconds for the standard job. Obviously Mercedes has kitted the CLS AMG with plenty of extra goodies, including Ride Control suspension settings of Comfort, Sport and Sport Plus, new LED lights and optional carbon ceramic brakes.

Mercedes CLS 63 AMG and the Ducati Diavel

Rumours that AMG could look at a Ducati takeover in the future after its new sponsorship and marketing deal will be met with more than just skepticism, with the Italians probably thinking that AMG has no business with their bikes. In the meantime we wanted to take a closer look at the first steps in the joint image marketing. In these pics and the video (after the jump) we see the new Mercedes CLS 63 AMG lined up beside the Ducati Diavel, the latest in the Italian bike manufacturer’s line-up.
The Diavel is Ducati’s new cruiser invention and while it’s got enough of the novelty factor to pull off the pics and video, frankly a classic sports Ducati would have been more in line with the AMG performance soul. According to the takeover reports, AMG badged Ducatis would be part of a strategy to create a more environmentally friendly brand but we’ve got our serious doubts on this one. See how the two pair up in the images and the video after the jump, with the Ducati press release announcing the partnership.

              New 2012 Mercedes CLS

These new Mercedes CLS high res pics have been released before the four-door coupé has its official debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. The 2012 Mercedes CLS is as smooth as ever and with BMW and Audi trailing ever since it first came on the market in 2004, the new CLS should provide some very stiff competition for the 2012 BMW Grand Coupé and the newAudi A7 Sportback to be launched in Europe in November.
The design follows the inspiration of what Mercedes calls a “feline predator” and is an example of just how good Mercedes is at uniting sportiness with elegance. In a more aggressive style, Mercedes has included flared wheel arches and muscular lines on its new CLS. The interior gets a few new design touches too, including a new sports steering wheel and column gear shift.
The CLS is as technological as we’d expect it to be with full LED technology across the board (Mercedes says it’s used 71 bulbs in the front headlight set-up and side lamps) and Night View function. While the new CLS is an example of Mercedes’ emerging design direction for the years to come, it is also clearly an evolution on the original 2004 model

        Mercedes Shooting Brake Concept

The Mercedes Shooting Brake concept will go on show at the Beijing motor show and here is a full gallery of the concept and a video. We had orginally expected the shooting brake to be a coupé style concept, but in reality the car introduces the new Mercedes CLS Station Wagon. The CLS Station Wagon is a model that Mercedes has on more than one occasion announced it would plan, and we should see a production version towards the end of 2011. See the Shooting Brake video after the jump for all the details on the concept.

             Mercedes F800 Style pics

The Mercedes F800 Style Concept Car will appear at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show as the company prepares its coupe-sedan design for the replacement of the Mercedes CLC. I have to admit that I wasn’t expecting something quite so sexy from Mercedes, but the F800 Style is not just about what its name suggests.
The concept car is 474 cm long which suggests it might adopt the A-Class and B-Class platform, which will also be used on the Mercedes SUV range, previously known as BLK. The F800 Style is also 194 cm wide, 144 cm high and has a boot capacity of 440 litres. The car is equipped with a traditional hybrid drivetrain with a V6 engine with 300 hp and an electric motor with lithium ion batteries for another 109 hp.
Emissions measure 68 grams of CO2 per kilometre and fuel consumption is just 2.9 litres for every 100 km. The F800 Style has plenty of speed though, accelerating to 100 km/hr in 4.7 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/hr. It has a seven-speed, semi-automatic transmission also used on the Mercedes S-Class hybrid, and can also be equipped with a combustion fuel cell system for zero emissions.

Mercedes CLS commercial appeals to... kids?

This is the first commercial we’ve seen for the Mercedes CLS and while it’s all about “pure fascination” and “sensuality and sense”, it wasn’t really what we were expecting for the sleek coupé-sedan. Providing some hefty first-in-best-dressed competition for the Audi A7 Sportback and the upcoming BMW Grand Coupé we’ll be honest and say that the car commercial could be a make or break moment for all these models in carving out their space of the market share. And this ad doesn’t really scream the luxury and beauty of the Mercedes CLS. Still, maybe we’ve been used to seeing these kinds of cars motoring along roads with beautiful landscape to the sound of symphonic music. In which case, it’s at least an attempt to try something new.

Mercedes CLS Edition Black by Kicherer

This Mercedes CLS Edition Black tuning by Kicherer sees the CLS 500 get a mean look and some updated power. Thanks to a new electronic engine mapping system and an updated exhaust, the CLS Edition Black has 470 hp and 600 Nm of torque. That’s an extra 52 hp and 90 Nm on the standard version.
In addition to that, the Kicherer tuners have installed a new “PowerConverter” tool on the accelerator for a faster, more responsive acceleration. The style updates are quite discreet, with a new matte black exterior and carbon components and trim. A new set of handmande, 20-inch wheels complete the package.

Mercedes CLS shooting brake on the way

According to reports, the Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake will arrive in 2011 as the production version of the Mercedes Fascination concept car, presented at the Paris motor show back in 2008. The three door coupé will appear alongside the four-door coupé, which will be officially presented at the 2010 Paris motor show.
While Mercedes is unlikely to use the name ’shooting brake’, the style could also produce a five-door version which would substitute the R-Class in the future. An AMG shooting brake version seems almost guaranteed, as Mercedes uses the four-door model to compete with cars such as the Porsche Panamera and Audi A7.

Hyundai Sonata

MPH HEARTS MPG.

Whether you choose the 200-horsepower* 2.4L GDI engine or the 274-horsepower 2.0T twin-scroll turbo, you get the power you want, with the fuel efficiency you didn’t expect. Opposites really do attract.
* 200 horsepower on SE, 198 ULEV / 190 PZEV on GLS and LIMITED.

DYNAMIC DUO

Sonata engineers decided that instead of creating a 4-cylinder and a 6-cylinder option like the competition, they would simply get more power out of a better, fuel-efficient 4-cylinder engine. The result is two of the most revolutionary engines available.
The Sonata’s 2.4L Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) engine is the most powerful naturally aspirated 4-cylinder in its class. Delivering up to 200 horsepower and 186 lb.-ft. of torque, the 2.4L gets a segment-leading 35 miles from every gallon of gas on the highway. This allows it to meet Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV) standards, and in some states, a version even qualifies for Partial Zero Emission Vehicle (PZEV) status.
The Sonata 2.0T is a game-changer. This 4-cylinder twin-scroll turbo pumps out 274 horsepower and 269 lb.-ft. of torque—more than the V6 Camry, Accord and Altima. And at 34 highway MPG, blows them all away on fuel economy as well. Why spring for an expensive, less-economical V6 when you can get more power and better MPG with the 2.0T?

SONATA SE

Endless tweaking transformed the Sonata into the sport-tuned SE. Modified suspension and steering deliver a sportier ride and increased steering response. Larger stabilizer bars reduce body roll and improve handling on curves. A stylish dual exhaust makes the most of either the 2.4L or the 2.0T, while paddle shifters mounted on the leather-wrapped steering wheel put it all at the driver’s fingertips.
Front fog lights, leather-bolstered and cloth insert sport seats, and 18-inch Hyper Silver alloy wheels with performance tires complete the transformation, and Proximity Key entry with push button start mean you can go from admiring it to flooring it in seconds.

FEEL FREE TO JUDGE IT BY THE WAY IT LOOKS.

The first thing you’ll notice is the styling. Raked roofline, shark-fin antenna, sculpted grille—the Sonata has taken the lead in a new wave of Hyundai design called “Fluidic Sculpture”. The California influence is evident in its forward-thinking style, fusing beauty, performance and efficiency in one complete package.

SE AND LIMITED

The SE and Limited add a few touches to the already well-appointed GLS, like a chrome grille and door handles, front fog lights and chrome-tipped dual exhaust(disclaimer: dual exhaust not available on 2.4L Limited). The Limited takes it a step further with side mirror turn-signal indicators that increase visibility and safety.

HIGH-TECH VISIBILITY

Heated side mirrors ward off frost, while solar control windows block UV rays to protect the interior, and you, from the wrath of the sun. The intentionally large windows increase visibility, reduce blind spots and contribute to a feeling of spaciousness and ride comfort for you and your passengers.

AWARDED A ‘TOP SAFETY PICK’ BY THE IIHS.

Thanks to airbags galore, 4-wheel ABS brakes, front and rear crumple zones, and a whole host of modern safety technologies, the Sonata received a 2011 ‘Top Pick’ award from the IIHS. And with a name like the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, you can bet they take their testing very seriously.

ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL

NHTSA analysis estimates that passenger cars equipped with ESC may experience 35% fewer single-vehicle crashes, and 30% fewer single-vehicle fatalities*. ESC sensors measure the difference between a driver’s intended path—when a turn is less or more than intended—and applies appropriate braking force to individual wheels to help regain control. ESC also includes Traction Control System (TCS), which reduces wheelspin when accelerating.

TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM

By reducing wheelspin in various adverse traction conditions, including inclement weather, Traction Control gives more stable and predictable acceleration characteristics for a more confident, controlled driving experience.

Saab to Apply for Creditor Protection as Bankruptcy Looms Yet Again

Debt ridden Saab is to apply for court protection from its creditors in a bid to stave off bankruptcy get again. For months, the automaker has struggled to raise finances to pay off suppliers, and as a result, has halted production. Saab was rescued from bankruptcy last year by Dutch owner, Swedish Automobile (formerly Spyker), as former owner General Motors prepared to shut the company down
Saab has declined to comment on the issue but, spokeswoman Gunilla Gustavs said that the company is continuing to work on raising the necessary funds. The Swedish automaker’s most recent statement said, ” Saab Automobile AB is now working on other options to secure bridge funding which would allow us to stabilize  operations, finalize negotiations with suppliers on payment and delivery terms and restart production”.
If Saab obtains a court creditor protection order, it would place the company into a process of corporate restructuring. Under this process, which Saab entered in 2009 after GM made clear its intention to cease funding the company and exited later that year, the company is granted temporary protection from creditors while an administrator and management seeks to restructure the company into a viable business

Rebirth of the BMW Z4 coupe.

Coupes have always had an important role in the history of BMW over the last 8 decades. It started with the 328 Karmann Coupe in pre-World War II Europe. The big coupe won the 1940 Mille Miglia and with its success would fall under the curtain of war spreading across Germany and the rest of Europe.
About 3 decades on an the world would be lucky enough to meet the BMW E9 coupe – which would go on to be a huge success in the European touring car series’, the 12 Hours of Sebring, and solidify BMW’s position as a genuine maker of modern, high performance coupes. The success of the roadgoing 3.0CSi of the early 1970′s was followed up by the more expensive, more luxurious and higher performing original E24 6 Series which would receive only minor cosmetic changes and a handful of engine upgrades over its 13 year production life culminating in the ultimate iteration with the first M6 in the history of BMW – powered by the venerable straight-six M88 engine.

The start of the 1990′s brought BMW’s biggest step forward in it’s big two door via the 8 Series. At its release in 1991, the 850i was the most expensive and most technically advanced vehicle in the history of the black, blue and white badge. In European spec, the 8 Series even came with an early version of the modern ASR system found on the F01 7 Series – allowing the driver to provide a few degrees of steering input to the rear wheels for improved handling at speed. Additionally, the variety of engines helped the 8 Series reach wider appeal with the M62 V8 engine of the 840i and the M70 V12 of the 850i
.With the demise of the ultra BMW coupe in the late 1990′s – many would think that it would not be until 2004 when the next 6 Series was released before BMW had another true coupe in the line-up.  However, that would be an incorrect statement. During BMW’s absence from the big coupe market the role was supplanted by the tiny but quite wide E36 M Coupe based upon original Z3 Coupe. With a petite, lithe figure from head-on – the car swelled to a gigantic rear with blistered wheel arches and a fat, quad exhaust. Perhaps the Kim Kardashian of the late 90′s car market?

Due to it’s proportions and roofline , the Z3-based M Coupe was nicknamed the “Clown Shoe” and unlike a Kardashian, the original M Coupe had gobs of talent with its European-spec S50B32 engine pumping out 321 German horsies. In 2001, with the introduction of the E46 M3, the little 3 door coupe reached full potential with the S54B32 tucked under the hood for 333HP on tap. To manage the power, a limited slip differential was added over the standard Z3 coupe. All in, the Z3 M Coupe was one of the most underrated German sports cars of the late 1990′s and early 2000′s and ironically, a car manufactured by engineers in their off-time with the intent of improving the torsional rigidity and overall performance of the original Z3 Convertible. By keeping the production and retooling costs to a minimum, the M Coupe was able to be brought to market – hence the sharing of many parts from the Z3 Convertible.
The original Z3 and M Coupe did not find a substantial market as this sort of shooting brake design was a far cry from what many expected from a BMW. However, as production wound down in 2002 – the car would quickly reach near-legend status with enthusiasts and the fastest S54-powered Coupes began fetching higher prices in the user car market.

Given the success of the original Z3 convertible, the Z4 replaced it in 2003 though the fate of the coupe version was yet to be determined. By 2005, a concept previewing the Z4 Coupe was released – giving enthusiasts hope for a new, lightweight baby BMW performance car. What followed did not disappoint – the Z4-based M Coupe took on the same S54 powerplant but adopted a much more elegant and sleek body, forgoing the enormous rump in favor of a more supple, tapered tail. The standard 3.0Si Coupe was a looker too and definitely no slouch with its 3.0L N52 engine with Valvetronic and 258 HP. However, as the global economy began to slow, the Z4 Coupe and M Coupe began to experience sales declines with incentives and “cash-in-trunk” deals being offered on the car just prior to the end of production. Despite the slowdown in sales, the performance and design of the second BMW shooting brake cannot be downplayed as one of the most fun and sexy BMW’s on sale in the last decade.
That said, will the Germans see it fit to grace the world with another small BMW coupe? We have the big 6 again in the F13 6 Series – but nothing to satisfy the lighter, smaller class of cars where performance isn’t entirely compromised by luxury. Yes, the 1 M Coupe satisfies that spot to a degree – but it does not have the sex appeal of a long-nosed sports car with a short wheel base and two kidney grills at the front. Frankly, the idea of either a coupe version of the Z4 sdrive35is or even an M-powered coupe pounding around with a S65 V8 under the hood – not too far off from a roadgoing Z4 GT3 perhaps?

The current Z4 sDrive35is has had its share of problems on the market given the type of incentives BMW is offering. Had BMW forgone the current Z4is and put an M-derived Z4 in its place – would sales perhaps be higher by better catering to the enthusiast market?
Included here are a few renderings from a post we had back in the fall hypothesizing what a Z4 Coupecould look like. It’s gorgeous and that’s not surprising – the current E89 Z4 Convertible is a gorgeous car too. Its wonderful with the long, sloping nose gliding back to the subtle yet still pronounced hips. If the E89 is such a big improvement and less polarizing over the E85 in droptop form – then how could an E89 coupe possibly be wrong?

G Power unveils BMW M3 Tornado RS with 720 hp

The German tuning company G-Power unveils their latest update to the BMW M3 Tornado. Back in May, the tuner introduced a 635 horsepower version of the limited-edition BMW M3 GTS.
Now, the company follows up with another major power upgrade. The BMW M3 Tornado RS outputs 720 horsepower, turning it into one of the most powerful M3s ever created.
M3 Tornado RS comes equipped with a titanium exhaust system featuring free-flowing 100 cpsi metallic catalytic converters, resulting new performance figures from all these modifications: impressive 720 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque.
The car features the G Power SK III “Sporty Drive” Supercharger System, which increases the V8′s displacement by 15 percent, from 4.0 to 4.6-litres due to the modified crankshaft, a custom cooling system that helps keep temperature at optimum levels, and acarbon fiber airbox which is 4 kg lighter than the
With the significant power upgrade, the G Power M3 Tornado RS runs 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds, and from 0 to 200 Km/h (124 mph) in 9.7 seconds. Top speed is clocked at 330 Km/h.

G-Power to give the BMW M3 GTS over 600 horsepower

Press Release: The BMW M3 GTS seams to have all it takes for being the ultimate BMW M3: lightweight body parts, carbon aerodynamic parts, titanium exhaust, racing suspension, roll cage and racing bucket seats for six-point seatbelts. BMW is right when they call it an “extreme athlete for street and racetrack”.
But there is one thing it is missing. The ultimate output. An additional 30 hp compared to the standard BMW M3, that costs just half the price of the M3 GTS, is not too bad, but the ultimate output for the M3 GTS can only be provided by G-POWER.
That is why the first couple of BMW M3 GTS, out of the limited edition of 220 unites, have started to arrive at G-POWER for their output enhancement. A specially adapted version of G-POWER’s SK II CS supercharger system pushes the factory output of 450hp to a more suitable 6XXhp.
After this modification the BMW M3 GTS can finally show the armada of Porsche 911 GT3 RS who’s the boss at the various clubsport racing events.
Right now the first of the announced BMW M3 GTS has just arrived at G-POWER. Two more are already on their way. So a little piece of advice for the “competitors” of the G-POWER trained BMW M3 GTS: prepare yourself for a rough rid.

   G-Power BMW X5 Typhoon Facelift‎

German aftermarket company G-Power reveals their latest update to their BMW X5 model. The new G-Power X5 Typhoon takes the output of the xDrive48i model to 525 horsepower. The 2011 BMW X5 xDrive48i is powered by a 4.8 liter V8 engine and it receives the SK III “Sporty Drive” supercharger system, producing 525 hp / 386 kW at 6,100 rpm and 600 Nm of torque at 5,300 rpm.
The ASA T1- 522 charger uses a radial centrifugal clutch, which is flanged to the engine through a CNC-milled framework structure. The X5′s supercharger is powered by a crankshaft via the multi-rib belt, and is lubricated through the engine’s oil circulation system. It boosts a pressure of 0.5 bar. T
With this impressive power increase, the G-Power 2011 X5 xDrive48i is able to reach a top speed of 275 km/h and needs only 4.7 seconds to run from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h).
The G-Power 2011 BMW X5 xDrive48i also features a two-part carbon intake air duct, a large-volume aluminum charge air cooling system, and a high-performance exhaust system including racing headers, catalysts and end mufflers.
On the design side, the TYPHOON body kit consists of new and very aggressive bumpers front and back, massive wheel arch extensions and LEDs at the front. Custom side skirts have also been fitted. The ventilated bonnet made of carbon fiber enhances the aggressive look.
